when the internet tells you to shut up

i've noticed that whenever i try to post comments to other people's blogs, i'm required now to select a profile to post from (because having a blogger i.d. apparently isn't enough) and to type in a word verification. the problem is that the word i'm supposed to type is blank. i can't see it and i can't advance without entering it. the internet has officially told me to mind my own business... i'll be over here in the corner, thinking about your blogs...
