last saturday at the glorious hampton court palace, the who's who of society came out to support the raisa gorbachev foundation. amongst the many black tie suited and booted gents, designer matthew williamson arrived in a somewhat casual and summery outfit (which seemed wise considering it was one of the hottest day we had this spring). the british designer accessorised with rayban shades and a paisley print scarf from his spring 2010 menswear collection.

after his first effort at designing menswear with h&m, matthew williamson debuted his menswear collection in spring 2010. i've seen the pieces at selfridges and i really like it, especially the cashmere v neck jumpers. on this occasion, matthew appeared to be wearing the cream trousers from his h&m collection.

jefferson hack was also at the event. looking ever so effortlessly cool, i was beyond ecstatic to see him in a pair of mr hare "jerry lee" shoes. despite saddled oxfords being a common style, the delicate toe shape and the brown soles was mr hare's take on the classic design.

elton john's partner, david furnish, was also at the event. he wore a sequined dinner jacket, which i am pretty sure it's from dolce & gabbana spring 2010, but i can't seem to find any pics to substantiate it. i wanted to feature it, as another british personality also wore the same jacket a day later to an awards ceremony, which i'll update in the next blog post.
david was pictured with his nightclub venture business partner and sometimes shoe designer patrick cox, and newly weds lara stone and david walliams in the background. seems like a fun party!
