US actor stephen dorff attended the 67th venice film festival to promote the new film "somewhere", directed by sofia coppola. swiss watchmakers jaeger le-coultre was one of the sponsors of the festival, hence we saw quite a few artistes wearing their watches for the film promos. outfitted by tom ford, stephen dorff was head to toe in perfection.

complimenting his black tux was the classic and exquisite pink gold "reverso" from jaeger le-coultre. i've always believed that leather strapped watches work better with black tie attires (see previous post about french actor nicolas duvauchelle in the steel bracelet jaeger le-coultre "grand calendar").

the rose gold "reverso" with brown alligator strap is my absolute favourite. the watch face could be reversed to reveal a smooth backing. the idea is that we could wear it for sports and the likes without fear of scratching/damaging the watch.
