last friday, actor tom hardy was seen watching a lakers game in los angeles. the "inception" actor looked effortlessly cool with his well washed grey t-shirt, denims, tattoos and a watch i love 00o00h so much: the dior homme chiffre rouge.

tom wore the version with black rubber and brushed steel, which in my opinion is a great combination. "chiffre" translates to "figure/number", and "le chiffre" is one of the characters/villians in the james bond novel "casino royale". i hope there's a connection there, doesn't the watch look befitting in a bond movie?

i'm thinking the "rouge" (red) bit in it's name comes from the transparent red sapphire crystal on the back of the watch. every bit stunning.
