Irony: To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen who traps sex perverts in TV stings ‘caught cheating on his wife’... by hidden camera!

I can't think of any irony in the years that I have been blogging that would surpasse this one. Chris Hansen is famous for confronting pedophiles on his show getting them on hidden camera. He's become quite famous and has been spoofed on South Park:

He's made his name with a controversial show that catches would-be internet sex perverts in televised stings.

But now Chris Hansen has found himself on the receiving end of his own hidden camera tactics, after the married NBC anchor was secretly filmed on an illicit date with a blonde television reporter 20 years his junior.

Hansen, 51, has allegedly been having an affair with Kristyn Caddell, a 30-year-old Florida journalist, for the last four months.
Hansen was caught in an undercover sting by... the National Enquirer. Years ago that would have sounded too weird to be believed. However, they did catch John Edwards in his affair during the 2008 Primaries - a full 6 months before the establishment MSM would publish anything on the story. So there's that.
