Obama adviser David Axelrod: "The era of cheap gasoline is over"

Once elected, Obama went right to war with oil, so vehemently that a federal judge found Obama in contempt for usurping the US Constitution: Shocker: Judge holds Obama regime in contempt over illegal drilling ban. That coupled with Obama's incompetence at any semblance of foreign policy is setting up a nightmare scenario for oil prices that will hurt our economy. Gas is already above $4 a gallon here in Michigan and most expect that the $5 threshold will be breached across the nation this summer (From The Detroit Free Press this morning:Is $5-a-gallon coming soon?). High gas prices are exactly what Democrats and Obama want. O said so himself:  Flashback 2008: Obama says he wants gas prices to go up
So Axelrod is absolutely right here, because of and as long as Obama is in office:

You would think one of the biggest money fears for a Delta CEO would be for the fuel bill ... surprisingly it's not, it's the consumer push to unionize. The fuel bill is pretty bad, but he thinks "customers are understanding that once the fuel goes up the ticket prices rise." He gives Neil some tips on saving for flying with Delta.

When asked about possibly unionizing, he is "very proud of the relationship he has with my employees" and continued on saying "we're pretty confident to continue on being the best employer in the industry." But is it that easy?
Obama is working that one too.
