new month, new shoes. this pair has been on my wishlist for what must be the longest time. first previewed in september 2009, i knew i wanted it there and then. "capote" is from london based designer mr hare's second collection, entitled "hot steppers".
when i heard there was a sample sale literally 5 mins away from my office, i had to get there, even in the pouring rain.

the shoes are really very well made. we shouldn't expect anything less from shoes coming from the same factory as ferragamo and gucci. i was pleasantly surprised, the suede upper was much softer than i thought. and the patent toecap really made all the difference.
i love typography. i love numbers. i love gold stamping on leather. i love details like that.
oh i can't wait to wear these out. london stop raining already.
