We have an African-American president, so why not an African-American Spider-Man, too?

If this new Spider Man is as good as our community organizer-in-chief, he'll be caught in his own web in no time flat.

Revealed in Marvel Comics' Ultimate Fallout Issue 4, out Wednesday, the new Spider-Man in the Ultimate universe is a half-black, half-Hispanic teen named Miles Morales. He takes over the gig held by Peter Parker, who was killed in Ultimate Spider-Man Issue 160 in June.

In his first appearance, he simply breaks up a fight. But readers will learn the true origin of Morales and how he became the new Spider-Man when Ultimate Spider-Man relaunches in September with a new No. 1 issue.

But that's not all, he' also gay: Marvel Comics reveals the new Spider Man is black - and he could be gay in the future

But another surprise could be in the pipeline after his creators said that in the future they would not rule out making him gay.

Why not make him 5% Asian and  call him Mr. United Nations already? So how long before Batman gets a sex change?

Keep in mind that Obama gets to spend another $2.4 trillion that we don't even have to buy himself re-election, and that the supposed cuts are not cuts at all but rather decreases in how fast the government expands. Instead of expanding at 8% per year, it will only expand at 7.5%. There are no cuts and the debt will grow every single God-blessed day until the insanity is stopped. Soccer player David Beckham and his wife Victoria (formerly a performer) are being derided in the British press as "bad role models." No, they're not publicly carrying on affairs, fighting in public, or abandoning their children. Their sin: having four children.

Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby sees this latest finger-wagging -- including, ominously, scorn from a Member of Parliament -- as just the latest in a string of baseless warnings about overpopulation. Here's Jacoby's rebuttal:

Yes, more babies mean more mouths and therefore more consumption. But more babies also mean more minds and arms and spines - and therefore more new ideas, more effort, more creativity, more initiative, more enterprise. “Human beings do not just consume, they also produce,’’ writes George Mason University economist Bryan Caplan. “The world economy is not like a party where everyone splits a birthday cake; it is more like a potluck where everyone brings a dish.’’

The evidence is obvious. Are we better off today than we were 100 years ago, and 100 years before that? And than we were 2,000 years ago? Obviously.

The things is, the overpopulation 'problem' and its impact is pure mythos:

lRemember that 'new civility' back in January? That call for a 'new tone' in political debate in the aftermath of the Gabriel Giffords shooting in Arizona? Yeah - it was all BS designed to shut up conservatives. Liberals have been in full-tilt demagogue mode every since. For instance, from Stephen Henderson, editorial page editor over at The Free Press on debt ceiling talks: In debt ceiling talks, Obama learns price of appeasing tea party extremists. The 'new civility' (cont'd):

Negotiate with terrorists, and they will come back again, asking for more.

Henderson repeats the above at the end of the piece too. Just to make sure you get that.

Increasingly, this is what the debt ceiling debate looks like in Washington, as GOP radicals extract pound after pound of ideological flesh from President Barack Obama, only to insist that it’s just not enough.

They will have their way — absolutely, with no exceptions — or they will detonate a bomb in the middle of a barely recovering economy, sending shockwaves that could reverberate for decades. Literal violence, it isn’t. But the GOP is certainly indulging an astounding act of economic hostage-taking.

Great job on that new tone thing! Why doesn't Stephen let everyone know that when their credit card is maxed out, and their spouse wants more credit and they refuse that they are terrorists and want to detonate a bomb on the family finances. That makes just as much sense as what is written above.

Fact is, there is already a compromise. Raising the debt ceiling in exchange for cuts IS THE COMPROMISE! After all, Obama will spend that increased credit immediately while we have to wait 10 years to see any cuts, and I'm in no way convinced those cuts are real.

Henderson's appeal is for more taxes on those evil rich people. Taxing the people that already pay the vast majority of the taxes anyway won't even put a dent in the deficit as the government is short by more than $100 billion... A MONTH! You can raise the rates on the richest 1% to 100%, steal all their wealth, and it still won't make a dent. That's how bad the problem is. So who's the ideologue here? The top 5% of taxpayers, by the way, pay more federal income taxes than the bottom 95%. Let that sink in for a moment. Meanwhile, the bottom 51% pay no federal income taxes at all and the bottom 40% get money back. So why should the top be punished even further? Curiously, the push for tax increases always comes like this from liberals:

...he has retreated on tax reform to the point where he is simply asking for some of the wealthiest Americans to give up deductions and loopholes that even many in the GOP say make little sense.

Um - Stephen: that's not asking. That's stealing (taxing for a legitimate function of government is fine, extracting money from people to pay for an illegitimate function of government such as cutting checks to other people is thievery). As in I will have more of your money or you will go to jail at the point of a gun!

And about those so-called tax cuts that Henderson claims are unsustainable:

After the decrease in marginal tax rates in 2001 and 2003, the deficit decreased in 2005. And then further decreased in 2006. And again in 2007, which was the year of the last GOP budget. So we had a decreasing deficit for several straight years, after the tax cuts and after the wars. In 2007, the federal budget was $2.7 trillion. In 2011 it is $3.8 trillion. The vast majority of the deficit is composed of new Democratic Party spending, not lower tax rates, and not the wars.

If the federal government cannot get its fiscal house in order, then they deserve to be the cause for the US getting its credit rating downgraded. STOP SPENDING!

"Impact" segment tonight: mass murder in Norway. A vicious killer, Anders Breivik, has murdered at least 76 people in the Scandinavian nation of Norway. Breivik is a brutal fanatic who apparently objects to the presence of Muslims in Europe.

Last Friday he bombed buildings in Oslo and then took an automatic weapon to an island a few miles away gunning down 68 people. Norwegian authorities couldn't get to the island because they didn't have a helicopter, if you can believe it.

Now, on Sunday, the "New York Times" headlined "As Horrors Emerged, Norway Charges Christian extremist". A number of other news organizations like the "LA Times" and Reuters also played up the Christian angle. But Breivik is not a Christian. That's impossible. No one believing in Jesus commits mass murder. The man might have called himself a Christian on the net, but he is certainly not of that faith.

Also Breivik is not attached to any church, and in fact has criticized the Protestant belief system in general. The Christian angle came from a Norwegian policeman not from any fact finding. Once again, we can find no evidence, none, that this killer practiced Christianity in any way.

So why is the angle being played up? Two reasons: First, the liberal media wants to make an equivalency between the actions of Breivik and the Oklahoma City bomber Tim McVeigh and al Qaeda. The left wants you to believe that fundamentalists Christians are a threat just like crazy jihadists are.

In fact, in the "New York Times" today an analysis piece says that some believe we have overreacted to the Muslim threat in the world. Of course, that's absurd. Jihadists have killed tens of thousands of people all over the world. The Taliban, Iran and elements in Pakistan use governmental power to support terrorism by Muslims. But the left-wing press wants to compare nuts like Breivik and McVeigh to state-sponsored terrorism and worldwide jihad.

Again, dishonest and insane.

The second reason the liberal media is pushing the Christian angle is they don't like Christians very much because we are too judgmental. Many Christians oppose abortion. Gay marriage and legalized narcotics, secular left causes. The media understands the opposition is often based on religion. So they want to diminish Christianity and highlighting so-called Christian-based terror is a way to do that.

Darned right! And well said. I don't agree with O'Reilly on most topics, but he's spot on on this one.

In the direct aftermath of the Ford Hood massacre, the media and the left were falling over themselves to NOT mention that a Muslim yelling "Allahu Akbar!" killed more than a dozen servicemen. One of the first, and one of the most disgusting events that occured after the January shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, was that many in the press and the internet blamed Sarah Palin and the Tea Party for the shooting. Not even 24 hours has passed since the tragic events in Norway, and people on the net are already pushing the link between suspect Anders Breivik and Sarah Palin.

We look at FireDogLake, which after quoting a paragraph from conspiracy site WhatReallyHappened, has this little nugget for us:

At Democratic Underground, we have the full force of blaming the Tea Party and the right in general. There we get a two-for-one as they attack both Palin and Free Republic.

After two tragic killings in which over 90 people are massacred, is it appropriate to make a joke about the attractiveness of the attacker? And tie him to non-violent politicians?

The head of the Congressional Black Caucus told Fox News on Wednesday that members are "furious" about the incendiary email Rep. Allen West sent to the Democratic party chairwoman, saying he's going to speak with the Florida Republican about the matter.

"It's unfortunate," Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., said. He could not say whether the CBC would seek to discipline its only Republican member, but claimed lawmakers were upset the incident has brought "undue attention" to the caucus.

The Democratic Party that foisted and fought for enslaving black people in the 19th century, did the same thing in the 20th and into the 21st centuries - shackling to black population to hopelessness and dependency on the Democratic Party. Back then, it was through physical force. Today, Democrats are the ones that run failed minority urban schools, failed minority urban cities (read: Detroit), have replaced the father with the government via welfare, etc. The list is endless, but there is only one result - the lifelong dependency of the black community on the Democratic apparatus via social programs specifically designed to shackle them. The Democrats have institutionalized black people to where they cannot be free. Democrat social programs are methods of control. The victim mentality was installed in black communities by Democrats. Affirmative action separates people by their race. Us against them. Black versus white. The party of identity politics divides people and judges them by the color of their skin, not by the content of their character. Democrats have kept blacks down in the plantations of failed urban environments with failed public schools that only teach hopelessness, doomed to continue voting for Democrats to get handouts that they have been convinced they are entitled to and that they couldn't survive without. And Democrats continue to to reap many votes from people's misery that they themselves have created. It's time that the black community wakes up and starts to vote for freedom, including their own, and their inalienable right to self determination that those centuries ago fought for.

Yet another in an endless string of examples of the liberal media looking out for wanton criminals rather than the victims of their crimes. Worse yet, it is utter hypocrisy to insist that murderers get far better treatment than unborn babies whom that same liberal media approve in being literally torn apart while conscious. From The Detroit Free Press, while the debt ceiling is about to fall in on a federal government that is like a drunk in an alcohol factory and can't stop itself from spending, the freep has other priorities to editorialize: Courts should give juvenile lifers chance at parole

Roughly 350 juveniles have been sentenced to life without parole in Michigan -- among the most in a nation that stands alone in imposing such sentences on children.

Children? They were tried as adults for a good reason - they're crimes were so heinous that they couldn't have been committed by unknowing kids. People mature at different rates and simply going with age makes no sense whatsoever.

Michigan's notorious juvenile lifer law denies even the possibility of parole for certain crimes, imposing the maximum adult penalty on children as young as 14. Bordering on barbarism, this practice is almost certainly unconstitutional, given recent court decisions.

But abortion that takes away a baby's 14th amendment protection against being deprived of life without due process is not. Doesn't that just figure? 

In a lawsuit filed last year, the American Civil Liberties Union and ACLU of Michigan argued that denying juvenile lifers a fair hearing and chance for release violates the Eighth Amendment's prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment.

But again abortion is AOK.The hypocrisy here is endless as having murderers incarcerated in air conditioned prisons with cable tv is considered inhumane and unfair, but dismembering babies under the absurd auspices of 'choice' is not:

...ACLU attorney Deborah Labelle told the Free Press editorial page on Monday. "...sentencing children to die in prison without giving them an opportunity for parole is inhumane, unfair and unconstitutional."

...The evolution of the law concerning adult sentences for juveniles is supported by emerging scientific scholarship as well as common sense. Juveniles don't possess the same rights and responsibilities as adults because of their maturity levels. Imposing the same penalities on someone too young to buy a pack of cigarettes is therefore irrational.

How about imposing the penalty of death on babies for the crime of simply existing? Irrational? And of course it is the job of these same hypocritical liberals to sanctimoniously lecture us on morality:

Despite overwhelming, legal, moral and practical arguments, Michigan legislators have failed to abolish this draconian law enacted in the 1980s. Repealing it would not, in itself, release a single prisoner; it would only give juvenile lifers a chance to earn a parole after serving lengthy sentences.

I don't think Draco would have put up with coddled murderers sitting in a club behind bars, but maybe that's just me. If the freep is so worried about cruel and unusual punishment, they should call for lifting Michigan's moratorium on capital punishment. After all, murderers can't possibly be held to a better standard than unborn children, right?
