Thierry Henry's Beard Is Overwhelming
There's some big, convoluted marketing message that goes with this clip but I can't be assed to go along with it because Thierry Henry's beard looks so outlandishly, distractingy lush in the video still. Seriously, I haven't seen a beard so black, so luxurious since Barry White died.
I bet that s*** smells ridiculous too, like fine musk & fresh leather. I wonder if he oils it? He has to, right? It probably feels like virgin panda fur; so soft that brushing it would do more harm than good. Shame he cut it off though as he was probably only a season away from getting that much-coveted Just for Men endorsement.

The Free TT Movement: Because Someone Has To, Right?
I'm not saying he should be freed --I mean he did hit a dude in the back of the head-- but I just love "Free Person X" movements. They never work but they're always so precious and spawn great t-shirts and stickers. So make yours today!

Photo of the Day: Henry Holds Power Lunch with Swizz Beats
I showed this picture of Thierry Henry and Swizz Beats having lunch at Cipriani yesterday to my girl Jackie Pickering and she said "I wonder who had dibs on the red hat?" These are life's big questions America.

Photo of the Day: The Frenchman & The Mayor
I know the Cosmos think they run New York but who have they got sitting courtside at the Knicks game with Bloomberg? And don't tell me Pele. I want a player, not staff.

Titi Talks American Fans in Dirty Red Bull Arena
Two things tell you that this interview was filmed in pre-season. The first is that the pitch at Red Bull Arena looks like it is ready for tractor pull. The second is that, following the "incident" in the San Jose game last week, there is NO WAY his answer about his relationship with the fans would be so bland.

Thierry Henry in New York: A Sky Sports Special Event
Leave it to Sky Sports --a news outlet that is readily available in the U.K., but something of a fringe network in the U.S.-- to give us the deep-dive on Thierry Henry's life in NYC. It's kind of a shame because something like this could really help sell him, RBNY and MLS stateside.
But maybe that's not the point. Maybe this is one of those things that you do to help improve your club's status as world-renowned, international players....like hiring Eric Cantona for some old position or other.
Either way TiTi is dope and this 4-part, 45+ minute expose* is as well. We get to go to TiTi's SoHo rooftop, find out that Juan Agudelo has no idea who 2 Live Crew are and sit in Holland Tunnel traffic on the way to Red Bull Arena on match day. Take it in y'all.
Parts 2 + 3 + 4
*It's probably not a proper "expose" as I don't think there is anything unseemly about it. But "expose" sounds far sexier and just as Access Hollywood as "exclusive" does.

Thierry Henry, Dita Von Tess, Ziggy Stardust-era Bowie, a cat, beauty marks and peeping; possibly the most French thing the world has seen since ______ went on strike.

Mike Petke Is the Uncle Rico of RBNY
Mike Petke still can't let go y'all. I bet you TiTi's new mustache that he ends up coming out of retirement by August.

Photo of the Day: Should These Two Be A Couple?
Henrooney has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? Much better than Brangelina or TomKat. Either way I don't think these two will be on the cover of US Weekly nearly as many times as the other conjoined-namers but I'm far more interested in seeing their upcoming work than I am in seeing another Tomb Raider or Mission: Impossible flick. Oh and so is The Daily Mail.

Press Pass on the Playoffs
The playoffs roll on tomorrow as New York tries to get it in against San Jose in Harrison. Word is that last week's trio of damaged goods --Tony Tchani, Salou Ibrahim and Thierry Henry-- are cleared to play but if sh*t ain't broke, then why try to fix it. Basically what I'm saying is let Agudelo start again, don't try and put TiTi in there just because you can. This is the playoffs, not a time to tinker.
But that's just me, that's just what I'm thinking. Go listen to Janusz and Andrew from Press Pass if you want to get another take on RBNY and some of the other games that are coming up this weekend. Now if you'll excuse me I've got some Champions League games to watch.
"Smile, We're Rich": TiTi Meets LeBron
Thierry Henry wasn't on the field for the Red Bulls this weekend but he was court-side for the Nets. Dude eschewed his now-usual place at the Garden to play the role of NBA fan-boy for an evening in Newark, where Lebron & them did work last night at the Prudential Center (Ronny Truiaf, you have been betrayed). At least I think it's TiTi. It could be Newark Mayor Cory Booker; those two fools do kind of look alike.
