and i would like to know if frida giannini, creative director of gucci, personally approves of the above t-shirt from gucci pre-fall 2011. oh yes, it is a genuine piece, available online from matchesfashion.com. in my humble opinion, it is so tacky even by counterfeiters' standards.
and i am doing this out of love. i love balmain and gucci, love it enough to go out and buy pieces at retail. i know they can do better.

there's something about mr james franco that is so appealing. the more discreet and nonchalant his dress sense, the more i wanted to know what he is wearing. mr franco was spotted at los angeles international (LAX) last weekend in the above ensemble. had i not tried that jacket in stores previously, i would have missed it completely. mr franco wore a college style blouson from gucci, with a navy cotton body and black lightweight leather sleeves. i believe that is a piece from gucci's pre-spring 2011 collection, and actually one of my favourite pieces from that collection.
not sure why james and the model above are sulking but a happy blouson this should be. the gucci blouson is also available online here at matchesfashion.com.

taiwanese artiste ethan ruan [阮经天] was recently featured in an editorial for esquire magazine. in what must be a very comfortable photo shoot, mr ruan slept in a bathrub but robed in a gorgeous lilac gucci jacket, and pillowing with a mcm luggage bag. i love the styling, there were a myriad of colors, but everything seemed to fit really nicely. especially loving the mcm bag which was from a special "shanghai" collection. l00o00ve!
